4 Bar MAP Sensor

The ZZPerformance 4 Bar MAP Sensor is engineered to support boosted applications and upgrades where factory MAP sensor ranges are insufficient. This sensor is crucial for properly tuning naturally aspirated engines that have been modified with forced induction, or for any application where boost pressures surpass the limits of stock 1 or 2 bar sensors. It offers a direct plug-in replacement for many GM models, eliminating the need for complex wiring modifications. This sensor features a construction of Metal, Ceramic, and Polymer, ensuring durability and reliable performance. When used as an upgrade on vehicles not originally equipped with a 4-bar sensor, PCM tuning is a mandatory requirement to accurately interpret the sensor's readings. Specific tune tweaks involve adjusting the MAP sensor Linear value from a stock 94.4 to 424.99 and changing the KPA offset from 10.3 to -32.50. Direct plug-in compatibility is confirmed for the 2008-2010 LE5 and 2007-2010 2.2L engines. For older models, a 2-bar MAP sensor is recommended. It's important to note that certain 2009-2010 XFE Cobalt and LAP Cobalt models might require a 3-bar MAP sensor; verification of the existing plug is advised.
