4" Basic Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension 4" Basic Lift Kit is engineered to significantly enhance the stance, performance, and capability of your Chevy Colorado ZR2. This comprehensive kit provides clearance for up to 35-inch tires, allowing for a more aggressive look and improved off-road performance. Constructed with durability in mind, this lift kit features a high-clearance design with 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers that maximize ground clearance and offer robust off-road protection. The kit includes CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends to correct steering geometry at the new ride height, ensuring compatibility with the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system. Differential relocation brackets and heavy-duty skid plates are also included for enhanced underbody protection. Installation of this lift kit requires inner fender trimming and minor welding. It is recommended to have the installation performed by a professional shop, as specialized tools may be needed. A professional vehicle alignment is also necessary after installation. The kit is designed for 2017-2022 Chevy Colorado ZR2 models and requires aftermarket 20-inch wheels with a maximum 5.25-inch backspacing. Stock 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled with this lift kit. Certain wheel and tire combinations may require weld-on steering stops, which are included in the kit.
