4-Channel Class A/B Amplifier

The PowerBass ACS-4090 is a 4-channel, 480-watt Class A/B amplifier engineered for high efficiency and a compact chassis, making it suitable for installation in nearly any vehicle. It utilizes a PWM MOSFET power supply and a high-density heat sink for maximum efficiency and cooling. This amplifier offers versatile input options, accepting both high-level (speaker) and low-level (RCA) signals. It features remote soft delay turn on/off circuitry and includes variable electronic crossovers for both high-pass (50 Hz - 1 kHz) and low-pass (30 Hz - 250 Hz) frequencies, with a 12dB crossover slope. A selectable 12dB bass boost EQ and variable gain control allow for further sound customization. The ACS-4090 is 2-ohm stable, providing 90 watts RMS x 4 channels. It can also be bridged to provide 180 watts RMS x 2 channels into a 4-ohm load. The amplifier incorporates a comprehensive protection circuit that guards against impedance overload, speaker short circuits, thermal overheating, and DC output issues.
