4-Channel Full-Range Amplifier

The JL Audio HD600/4 is a 4-channel Class D full-range amplifier engineered for high-fidelity mobile audio systems. It delivers a robust 150 watts RMS per channel into 4, 3, or 2 ohms, and can even handle 1.5-ohm loads at the same power output. For even greater power, the amplifier can be bridged to provide 300 watts RMS x 2 into 8 or 4 ohms, making it versatile for driving both satellite speakers and subwoofers. This amplifier employs JL Audio's proprietary Single-Cycle Control switching design and Regulated, Intelligent Power Supply (R.I.P.S.) technology. These advanced features ensure tight power supply regulation, which significantly reduces distortion and maximizes overall sound quality, even under demanding conditions. The chassis features a premium brushed aluminum finish complemented by black powder-coated cast alloy heat sinks and a protective cover for the controls. Key specifications include a wide frequency response of 6 Hz - 30 kHz (+0, -1dB) and an exceptional signal-to-noise ratio of over 110 dB (A-weighted). The HD600/4 also offers flexibility with switchable input voltage ranges, allowing for seamless integration with various head units. It features versatile onboard signal processing, including Low-Pass or High-Pass filters with adjustable 12/24 dB/octave slopes, a filter defeat function, and detented, calibrated filter frequency potentiometers covering a range of 50 Hz - 500 Hz. The unit requires a 4 AWG wire gauge for power and ground connections and is protected by a 50A fuse.
