4-Channel Full-Range Class-D Amplifier

The Rockford Fosgate R2-300X4 is a 4-channel, full-range Class-D amplifier designed to be a reliable and high-performance audio component. It offers 300 watts of total power, with a rated RMS continuous power of 50 watts x 4 at 4 ohms, 75 watts x 4 at 2 ohms, and 150 watts x 2 at 4 ohms when bridged. This amplifier utilizes efficient Class-D technology, which minimizes current draw from your vehicle's electrical system. It features C.L.E.A.N. (Calibrated Level Eliminates Audible Noise) circuitry with in/out clip LEDs to aid in setting gain levels accurately. The P.O.W.E.R. supply is designed to increase output power as voltage increases, and MEHSA 4 (Maximum Efficiency Heat Sink Application) technology helps reduce MOSFET temperatures for enhanced durability and lifespan. For audio control, the R2-300X4 includes fully adjustable 12 dB/octave Butterworth crossovers for both high-pass and low-pass filtering on front and rear channels, along with an all-pass crossover option. It supports 2 or 4 channel input selection and can handle both low-level (RCA) and high-level inputs. Balanced differential inputs are used to reject noise picked up by signal cables, and the amplifier is protected by Rockford Fosgate's NOMAD (Non-stop Operating Monitor And Diagnostic) system. Installation is supported by 4 AWG power wire input and 8 AWG speaker wire output connectors. The amplifier is CTA-2006 compliant, ensuring its power ratings meet industry standards. It also features a cast aluminum heat sink for effective heat dissipation and has short circuit and over current protection.
