Description

This shim is specifically designed for 2-inch wide leaf springs and incorporates a 4-degree angle to address slight driveline issues that can arise after lifting a vehicle. Installation is straightforward: simply loosen the u-bolts and place the shim between the leaf springs and the axle mounting pad. For optimal results, BDS Suspension recommends measuring your pinion angle before purchasing to ensure proper application. The shims themselves feature tapered and roll-pointed leafs, which contribute to increased flexibility and an even deflection rate, allowing for smoother transitions between leafs as they compress. This design enhances wheel travel and contributes to a softer ride. Additional design elements include higher articulation achieved through bolt-style leaf alignment clamps, preventing the leafs from fanning out and allowing them to twist and flex more freely. Anti-friction pads are also incorporated to ensure a smooth and quiet operation.
