Description

The Kicker 45KM42 is a 4-inch, 2-way marine coaxial speaker built to deliver clear audio in a marine environment. Its construction includes a UV-treated polypropylene woofer paired with a Santoprene rubber surround, ensuring durability and optimal sound reproduction. A 1/2-inch PEI balanced dome tweeter handles high frequencies. The 45KM42 model operates at a 2-ohm impedance and is optimized for power handling, performing best with 50 watts of RMS power and capable of handling up to 150 watts at peak. The frequency response ranges from 60 Hz to 20,000 Hz, providing a full-range listening experience. Installation is straightforward with a mounting depth of 1-13/16 inches. This model is specifically designed as a 4-inch coaxial speaker; larger 6.5-inch or 8-inch speakers will not fit where these are intended. Rustproof, 316L stainless-steel speaker hardware is included for secure mounting. The package also comes with two charcoal and two white grilles to suit various aesthetics.
