The PRL Motorsports Cold Air Intake System Race provides a specialized performance upgrade for the 2017-2021 Honda Civic 1.5T Si, focusing on unrestricted airflow and engine efficiency. The kit replaces the restrictive factory intake with a 4-inch diameter intake path, utilizing a CNC-machined billet aluminum MAF housing and robust 4-ply and 6-ply silicone hoses. Installation requires attention to detail, and while the system is designed as a direct upgrade, users should ensure all factory components are cleared. This kit is specifically for 2017-2021 Honda Civic 1.5T Si models. It does not include an airbox and should not be confused with non-Si or other Civic variants, as fitment is specific to the Si configuration. It offers a cleaner air path to the turbocharger, which serves to reduce pumping loss and enhance throttle response compared to the factory setup.
