Overview

These front coil springs provide a 4-inch lift and are made from high-tensile steel for maximum reliability. They feature a polyester-based powdercoat for durability, are preset with hydraulic stress to reduce fatigue and prevent sagging, and are shot-peened to increase tensile strength.

These springs are direct OE replacements engineered with the proper wire diameter. The springs are sold as a pair and are finished in black.

The BDS Suspension coil springs are engineered to allow you to custom tune the spring rate and ride height, providing a 4-inch lift for your 1973-1979 Ford F-150 or 1978-1979 Bronco 4WD. As a vital part of your suspension, these coil springs support the vehicle's weight while allowing the wheels and tires to follow road surface changes. Constructed from high tensile steel, these direct OE replacement coil springs feature a precisely sized wire diameter to ensure maximum reliability and prevent premature coil bind. A polyester-based powder coat adds flexibility and durability, while a preset hydraulic stress reduces fatigue and prevents sagging. The shot-peening process increases tensile strength for enhanced wheel travel without sacrificing spring life. They are manufactured using either cold-wound chrome silicon 9254 or hot-wound 5160 steel for long-term performance. This product is specifically designed for 1973-1979 Ford F-150 and 1978-1979 Ford Bronco 4WD models.
