4-Inch Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension 4-inch Lift Kit is engineered to upgrade the appearance, performance, and capability of 1999-2004 Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty diesel trucks. This comprehensive kit provides clearance for up to 35-inch tires and includes Glide-Ride leaf springs, which feature a multi-leaf progressive spring rate and exclusive triple-stage design for a flexible and smooth ride across the suspension cycle. Up front, the kit incorporates a forged drop pitman arm and a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket to optimize steering geometry and maintain proper alignment through suspension travel. For the rear, a high-strength lift block and longer u-bolts are supplied. Buyers can choose between standard NX2 Nitro Series shocks, featuring a nitrogen-charged twin-tube design and 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, or upgrade to FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks with an internal floating piston monotube design and application-specific valving. Installation is described as easy and 100% bolt-on. Recommended tire and wheel specifications for optimal fitment are 35 x 12.5 tires with 16 x 8 wheels and a 4-inch backspace. A critical fitment note specifies that vehicles manufactured prior to February 28, 1999, require a different kit due to a change in the factory track bar. Additionally, the type of front U-bolt (square or radiused) must be correctly selected based on the vehicle's original configuration, as it can vary even within the specified model years.
