The Rough Country 4 Inch Suspension Lift Kit is engineered to give your 1980-1996 Ford F-150 2WD a bold, aggressive stance while enhancing its off-road capabilities. This system levels the front of the truck with the rear, eliminating the factory rake for a balanced profile and improved on and off-road performance. The kit features durable front coil springs and precision-engineered drop brackets for radius arms and the axle, ensuring optimal component alignment and a ride quality close to the factory feel. Constructed with durability in mind, this kit includes fabricated rear lift blocks that are stronger than standard cast iron blocks, offering greater strength for heavy-duty use. The included Rough Country N3 Shock Absorbers are nitrogen-charged and designed for a superior blend of off-road capability and on-road comfort, featuring a 10-stage variable valving system and a robust 18mm spring-loaded piston rod. This lift provides the necessary clearance to accommodate up to 33-inch tall tires, transforming both the look and capability of your F-150. Installation is estimated to take 6-8 hours. It is recommended to use extended brake lines for adequate slack during full suspension travel. If your vehicle is equipped with a front sway bar, drop brackets are also recommended. The kit includes lifted coil springs, radius arm drop brackets, I-beam drop brackets, hardware for the front, and 3-inch lift blocks with U-bolts and hardware for the rear.
