4-Inch Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension 191H 4-inch lift kit is engineered to enhance the stance, performance, and off-road capability of 2000-2006 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500, Suburban 1500, Tahoe, and 2000-2006 GMC Yukon/Yukon XL 1500 4WD models. This kit utilizes a high-clearance design, including a No Torsion Bar Drop System where torsion bars are mounted directly to the top of the lower A-arm, eliminating the need to drop the torsion bar cross-member and maximizing ground clearance. The front lift is achieved through torsion bar relocation brackets, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multi-piece differential relocation brackets, and heavy-duty skid plates for off-road protection. Steering geometry is corrected with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles, complemented by sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, and CV spacers. The rear lift involves new coil springs, track bar relocation, sway bar links, and extended bump stops. Options for Auto-Ride equipped vehicles and NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks are available for the rear. This kit provides clearance for up to 33-inch tires. For optimal fitment, specific wheel and tire combinations are recommended: 32x11.5 with 17x8 wheels and 4.5-inch backspace; 33x12.5 with 18x9 wheels and 5-inch backspace; or 33x12.5 with 20x9 wheels and 5.75-inch backspace. It is important to note that larger tires cannot be installed on OEM wheels, and if equipped with stock 17-inch wheels, they must be replaced with 17-inch or larger aftermarket wheels. Installation requires a special tool (Kent Moore Tools Part# J-42393) for unloading/loading torsion bars, which is not supplied by BDS. Frame bracket modification and differential mount modification are necessary. All-wheel drive models will require front driveline modification. Vehicles equipped with Auto-Ride will need part #121400 in place of the front and rear shocks. This system will not fit 2000 model Escalades.
