4-Inch Lift Kit w/ FOX 2.0 Shocks

The BDS Suspension BDS138FS lift kit is engineered to elevate your 1988-1991 Chevy and GMC 3/4 ton truck or Suburban (4WD) by 4 inches, enhancing its stance and off-road capability. This comprehensive kit is designed to accommodate tires up to 35 inches in diameter. Up front, the kit incorporates BDS's Glide-Ride leaf springs, which feature a triple-stage, multi-leaf progressive spring rate design for a smooth ride and flexibility, even under load. A 4-inch steering arm is included to correct steering angles, along with brake line brackets. For the rear, the kit uses high-strength cast iron lift blocks and longer u-bolts to achieve the 4-inch lift and maintain proper pinion angles. Precision-tuned FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks are included for improved damping and control, featuring a 2-inch impact-extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston monotube design, and application-specific valving. Installation is designed to be a 100% bolt-on process, minimizing the need for permanent modifications. However, some considerations may apply. If your vehicle is equipped with a factory front sway bar, a front sway bar shackle link kit (sold separately) may be required. Similarly, if your vehicle came with factory front dual shocks, you will need to order two additional auxiliary shocks. Exhaust modification might be necessary to ensure clearance for the front driveshaft. It's also noted that the 3/4 ton models commonly came with a 56-inch rear leaf spring, but some were produced with a 52-inch spring; measuring your factory rear spring before ordering is advised if you are ordering rear leaf springs separately (though this kit includes them).
