4-Inch Lift Kit with FOX 2.0 Struts

The BDS Suspension 4-inch lift kit is engineered to elevate the 2014 Ford F-150 4WD, enhancing its stance, performance, and off-road capability. This comprehensive system allows for the fitment of up to 35-inch diameter tires, significantly improving ground clearance and protection with its high-clearance design. Up front, the kit incorporates heavy-duty 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers and a multi-piece differential relocation bracket system, complemented by a protective skid plate for off-road durability. Massive CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles are included to correct steering geometry at the raised ride height, ensuring proper function and maintaining Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system compatibility. The front suspension is further upgraded with FOX 2.0 Performance Series struts, featuring a mono-tube design with an internal reservoir and IFP to prevent aeration and ensure consistent performance. Three preload settings allow for stance tuning. In the rear, the kit utilizes high-strength cast steel lift blocks and longer u-bolts to achieve a leveled stance, paired with matching FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks. This combination provides a balanced lift and enhanced damping for both on-road comfort and off-road prowess. Important installation notes include: the requirement for frame bracket modification and welding. 18-inch or larger diameter wheels are necessary, as stock 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled, while stock 20-inch wheels can accommodate up to 305/60-20 tires. Clearance testing is recommended for 18-inch wheels with 5-5.5 inches of backspacing to ensure proper clearance with the BDS steering knuckle. An E-brake bracket (part #123018) is required for factory power steps. Trucks equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft may need carrier bearing drop shim kit #122406. This kit will not fit HD models (7-lug). The kit is FMVSS No.126 compliant.
