4-Inch Lift Kit with NX2 Nitro Series Shocks

The BDS Suspension 4-inch lift kit is engineered to elevate your factory rear air bag equipped Ram 3500 gas-powered truck, improving its stance, performance, and off-road capability. This comprehensive kit offers clearance for up to 35-inch tires, allowing for larger wheel and tire combinations. Up front, the kit features gas-specific, full-length, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs for a smooth and predictable ride across various terrains. Heavy-duty tubular radius arms replace the factory stamped steel arms, offering improved strength, handling, and caster adjustment with OE-style rubber bushings at the frame mount for quiet operation. Steering geometry is optimized with a forged drop pitman arm to minimize steering angle and a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket to maintain proper axle alignment through suspension travel. The rear of the truck is lifted using a high-strength fabricated lift block and heavy-duty air bag spacers, along with longer u-bolts. To ensure proper driveline angles at the 4-inch lift height, a transfer case indexing ring and a new transmission crossmember are included, allowing for the use of the factory front driveshaft. Buyers can choose between two shock options: the NX2 Nitro Series, featuring a twin-tube design with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving and a 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, or the FOX 2.0 Performance Series, which boasts an internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, a 5/8-inch hard chrome plated shaft, and application-specific valving for maximum performance. Recommended tire and wheel combinations include 35x12.5 with 20x9 wheels (4.5-inch backspace) or 37x12.5 with 20x9 wheels (5.625-inch backspace), though some trimming may be required. Exhaust modification is required to clear the front driveshaft.
