4-Inch Lift Kit with NX2 Shocks

The BDS Suspension 4-inch lift kit is engineered to elevate the stance, performance, and capability of your 1977-1987 Chevy and GMC 3/4 ton truck or SUV, including models like the K20, K25, and V20. This comprehensive kit provides a 4-inch lift front and rear, allowing for clearance of up to 35-inch tires on 15x8 wheels with 3.5 inches of backspace. Up front, the kit includes BDS's Glide-Ride leaf springs, designed with a progressive spring rate and a triple-stage design for a smooth ride under any load while maintaining flexibility. A new steering arm is included to correct steering angles, and brake line brackets are provided. The rear of the vehicle is lifted using high-strength cast iron blocks and longer u-bolts to ensure a level stance and correct pinion angles. This kit comes standard with NX2 nitrogen-charged shocks featuring vehicle-specific valving for improved control. For enhanced off-road performance, an upgrade option to FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP monotube shocks is available. These FOX shocks feature a 2-inch extruded aluminum body, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated alloy steel shaft, and application-specific valving. Installation is designed to be straightforward with a 100% bolt-on process. However, note that exhaust modification may be required to clear the front driveshaft. Vehicles originally equipped with factory front dual shocks will need additional auxiliary shocks if the factory setup is to be replicated. Additionally, if your vehicle is equipped with a factory front sway bar, a separate sway bar drop kit is available.
