4-Inch Lift Kit with Steering Knuckles

The BDS Suspension 188PSS/900PSS is a 4-inch lift kit engineered to enhance the stance, performance, and capability of 2007-2014 Chevrolet Avalanche, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Yukon 1500 models. This comprehensive system provides clearance for up to 33-inch tires. The kit incorporates BDS's signature high-clearance design, featuring robust 1/4-inch thick laser-cut crossmembers and a multi-piece differential relocation bracket system for improved ground clearance and strength. A heavy-duty skid plate system adds further off-road protection. To ensure proper on-road handling and steering dynamics at the new ride height, the kit includes CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles that maintain factory tie rod ends and ESC compatibility. sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, and CV spacers are also included for a complete front suspension upgrade. In the rear, BDS provides coil spring spacers to achieve a level stance or a slight rear-high profile, depending on the chosen spacer (2" or 3" options available). The kit includes FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Coil-Over shocks for increased travel and superior damping, along with FOX Performance Series IFP gas rear shocks for enhanced ride and off-road performance. Installation of this kit is rated as Difficult, with an estimated 8-hour timeframe, and requires specialized tools such as a cut-off wheel or reciprocating saw, strut compressor, and welding equipment. Trimming may be required for optimal tire fitment. Important notes include that this kit will not work with auto-ride equipped vehicles, and minor frame bracket modification and welding are necessary. For AWD models, the BDS121651 Auxiliary Differential bracket is recommended, and front driveline modification may also be required.
