The Indian Motorcycle Mid Rise Handlebar Kit in black offers a distinct custom style and enhanced comfort for your ride. By raising the handgrips and controls 4 inches higher than the original positions, it provides a relaxed and comfortable reach that improves the riding experience on the road. Constructed from durable steel, this handlebar kit is designed to replace OEM part number 2882923-266. Installation is rated as hard and requires a separate left-hand grip from your Indian® Motorcycle dealer. The kit includes an extended clutch cable, paint protection film, and installation instructions to aid in the process. Important considerations for installation include potential limitations on windshield adjustment when using factory mirrors. Additionally, specific cable kits are required based on the model year: Cable Kit (2885148) is needed for 2014-2020 bikes, while Cable Kit (2885149) is necessary for 2021-current bikes. It is also advised to consult local laws regarding handlebar height regulations. The product comes with a one-year limited warranty from Indian Motorcycle against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, covering apparel and accessories. Proof of purchase is required to validate the warranty, which begins from the consumer purchase date or the factory vehicle warranty, whichever is greater.
