4-Inch Suspension Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension BDS599FS lift kit is engineered to elevate the style and ride of your 2009-2013 Ford F-150 2WD truck by a full 4 inches. This system is designed to enhance your truck's stance, performance, and off-road capability, offering clearance for tires up to 35 inches in diameter. The kit incorporates BDS's signature high-clearance design, featuring 1/4-inch thick, high-arched steel crossmembers and an integrated front skid plate for robust ground clearance and undercarriage protection. To maintain proper steering geometry at the new ride height, the kit includes massive, CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles. These work in conjunction with replacement tie rod ends to ensure correct steering angles, which is crucial for functional Electronic Stability Control (ESC). The front suspension also utilizes a steel top mount strut spacer. The rear lift is achieved via a block system designed to replace the factory 1.25-inch block. Bolt-style leaf alignment clamps allow for higher articulation by preventing the leaves from fanning out, enabling them to twist and flex more freely. Anti-friction pads are incorporated for a quiet operation, and the multi-leaf progressive design contributes to a smooth ride. Installation is rated as difficult with an estimated time of 10 hours. Important notes for fitment and installation include the requirement for 18-inch or larger diameter wheels, as stock 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled; stock 20-inch wheels can be used with up to 305/60-20 tires. An E-brake bracket (part #123018) is required for factory power steps. Early 2009 models might need brake assembly modifications, and this kit will not fit HD models (7-lug). Vehicles equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft may require a carrier bearing drop kit (#122406). This kit is also FMVSS No.126 Compliant.
