4-Inch Suspension Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension BDS184PES is a 4-inch suspension lift kit engineered for 2007-2013 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD trucks, designed to enhance stance, performance, and off-road capability while providing clearance for up to 33-inch tires. This kit features a high-clearance design with 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers and a front skid plate system for improved ground clearance and protection. The front suspension incorporates full-length replacement strut shocks and CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles to maintain correct steering geometry and ESC compatibility. A multi-piece differential relocation bracket and CV spacers are included to secure the front axle and improve CV angles. In the rear, the kit offers a choice between a 5-inch block kit to level the stance, or complete Glide-Ride leaf springs for a controlled feel and maintained payload capacity. Customers can select between FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP gas shocks or premium FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series shocks with Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjustability for superior on-road and off-road performance. Important notes for installation include: rear leaf spring installation requires fuel tank removal and frame bracket modification. 20-inch wheels with 5 to 5.75-inch backspacing are recommended for reduced trimming, and traction bars will not fit regular cab short box models. Auxiliary differential support brackets and potential front driveline modification may be required for AWD models. This kit will not fit two-mode hybrid models with electronic power steering. Stock 20-inch wheels can only be re-installed with the factory tire size, while factory 17 and 18-inch wheels cannot be re-installed.
