4-Inch Suspension Lift Kit with FOX 2.0 Struts

The BDS Suspension BDS1583FSR is a 4-inch suspension lift kit engineered to significantly enhance the performance and capability of 2021-2026 Ford F-150 4WD trucks. It offers clearance for up to 35-inch tires and features BDS's signature high-clearance design for superior ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection. Up front, the system incorporates FOX 2.0 Performance Series coil-over struts, which offer impressive damper performance with a 2.0" extruded and machined aluminum body for heat dispersion and an internal floating piston (IFP) to prevent oil aeration. The kit also includes heavy-duty 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multi-piece differential relocation brackets, and a robust skid plate for enhanced undercarriage protection. Massive CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles are used to correct steering geometry at the new ride height, ensuring proper function and compatibility with the ESC system. In the rear, the kit utilizes high-strength fabricated lift blocks and longer u-bolts to achieve a level stance. The overall installation is rated as difficult, with an estimated time of 8-10 hours, and requires specialized tools such as a ball joint separator and tie rod separator. Important notes and exclusions for this kit include: Models with a 2-piece rear driveshaft will require a carrier bearing shim kit (122406, not included). Crash bars may need modification depending on wheel and tire choice; users are responsible for ensuring these modifications are safe. This kit does NOT fit diesel models and will not work with Tremor models. Additionally, it has not been tested on models equipped with Ford BlueCruise and will not work with models featuring CCD (Continuous Controlled Damping). Some trucks with a 2-piece driveshaft may have a Ford recall (Safety Recall 21S25) that BDS recommends performing prior to lift installation.
