Overview

The Muffler Shop N20DP is a catless downpipe designed to optimize exhaust flow for N20-powered BMW vehicles. Constructed from mandrel-bent SS304 stainless steel, it features a 4-inch turbo v-band connection that reduces to 2.5 inches to match stock midpipes.

This downpipe includes two O2 sensor bungs for factory sensor reinstallation. Professional tuning or a CEL delete is required to prevent a check engine light.

The Muffler Shop N20DP is a performance-focused catless downpipe engineered to remove exhaust flow restrictions found in stock N20-powered BMW systems. By reducing back-pressure, this component increases turbo spool and prepares the engine for stage 2 tuning, providing significant power and torque gains. The unit is crafted from mandrel-bent SS304 stainless steel and features a precision CNC-machined 4-inch turbo v-band connection, which gradually tapers to a 2.5-inch diameter to integrate seamlessly with the factory midpipe. Designed for enthusiasts seeking improved performance, this downpipe includes two integrated O2 sensor bungs to accommodate OEM oxygen sensors. Please note that an ECU tune or a CEL delete is mandatory to avoid a check engine light on the instrument panel. This product is strictly for off-road use only and is not intended for use on public roads. The system is compatible with various BMW F-chassis models equipped with the N20 2.0L engine, including the F22 228i/xDrive, F30 320i/328i/xDrive, F31 328i xDrive, F32/F33/F36 428i/xDrive, and F10 528i/xDrive.
