Description

The AWR Engine Mount Kit is a comprehensive 4-piece set engineered to replace the factory engine mounts in your Mazda Protege or MAZDASPEED Protege. The kit is compatible with all 1.8L and 2.0L Mazda Protege models, regardless of whether they are equipped with a standard or automatic transmission. This direct-fit design ensures straightforward installation for a noticeable upgrade. By reducing engine movement, these mounts help to minimize wheel hop, leading to improved traction and acceleration. Additionally, they enhance the shifting feel, providing a more precise and responsive transmission experience. This results in more efficient transfer of power to the ground. AWR offers various bushing durometers (62A Ultra Soft, 70A soft, 88A medium, 95A hard). While harder bushing options further minimize motor movement for maximum power delivery, they will also transmit more vibration into the cabin, resulting in a harsher ride. Selecting the appropriate durometer allows you to tailor the balance between performance and comfort to your driving needs.
