4 Piston 13-inch Slotted Big Brake Kit

This rear brake system integrates advanced technology to ensure optimal performance, featuring a robust ProComp 4 Piston caliper finished in vibrant red. Constructed from aircraft-quality billet, the extreme lightweight caliper weighs just over 5 lbs and incorporates differential bore configuration, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. Its opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the included stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly with a 330mm (13-inch) slotted rotor. This design significantly reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, and effectively dissipates thermal stresses caused by extreme heat, preventing rotor warping. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that see more track use than daily driving. This specific kit is designed for the 2006-2014 Audi TT 2WD models with the 1.8L 1781CC l4 GAS DOHC Turbocharged engine. Please note that the OEM handbrake function will not function with this big brake kit installed.
