4-Piston 356mm 2-Piece Drilled Rotor Big Brake Kit

Constructed with precision, the kit includes 4-piston calipers made from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering a balance of light weight and exceptional strength. These calipers feature an opposed-piston design to enhance pad grip and reduce uneven wear. The aluminum caliper pistons are chosen for their corrosion resistance, superior heat management, and reduced weight. Furthermore, reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets ensure these larger-than-OEM calipers mount directly to existing points. The braking power is further augmented by 2-piece rotors, measuring 356mm (14") in diameter. These rotors utilize cast iron for durability and feature a drilled pattern to help dissipate heat, dust, and gases. The 2-piece design incorporates an aluminum center to lower rotational mass, leading to quicker response times and shorter stopping distances. This construction also allows for less restricted expansion and contraction, greatly reducing the chance of rotor warpage. All caliper seals are heavy-duty, built for sustained high-temperature use, and the included stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure for a faster pedal response. This kit is suitable for both street use with the provided street pads, featuring a low-dust ceramic compound, and track-only applications with optional race pads. A minimum wheel diameter of 18" (457mm) is required to accommodate the caliper and rotor size. The kit is designed for the 2013-2018 Scion FR-S and is compatible with 2WD vehicles.
