4-Piston Big Brake Kit

This advanced system features a single 4-pot caliper, ingeniously splitting its function with two pots for the primary foot brake and two pots for the handbrake, each operating on its own independent system. Constructed with a focus on performance and durability, the Dualcomp kit boasts a lightweight, forged one-piece caliper crafted from aerospace-quality aluminum. This monobloc construction eliminates weak spots common in cast or welded designs, ensuring exceptional strength and resistance to fracturing, warping, and failure. An opposed-piston design guarantees uniform brake pad grip and wear across both sides of the rotor, complemented by high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The two-piece rotor design contributes to lightweight, fade-free performance and effective grip on the track, while maintaining comfortable operation for daily driving. The lightweight center sections, made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reduce rotational mass and enhance brake response. Furthermore, the independent expansion and contraction of the rotor sections minimize warping due to heat buildup, with the aluminum center sections acting as heat sinks. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which prevent expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, optimized for street and occasional track use, reducing dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions.
