The calipers are CNC machined from aircraft-grade aluminum billet, ensuring lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, and feature aluminum pistons for superior heat management. The Procomp system utilizes two-piece rotors, available in either cross-drilled or slotted configurations. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. The operating temperature range for these pads is 194°F - 1022°F. Ksport also includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent hose expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. The calipers themselves boast an opposed piston design that significantly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components. Customization options are available for caliper colors, including standard painted finishes and premium high-polish upgrades. This specific kit is designed for the 2009-2013 Toyota Prius models (including Base, Prius C, Prius Plug-In, and Prius V trims).
