The PRL Motorsports 4-Piston Brake Caliper Kit is a high-performance, purpose-built solution designed to replace factory single-piston floating calipers that often struggle under sustained heat and pressure. Featuring a 2-piece forged 6061-T6 aluminum body with 44mm primary and 41mm secondary pistons, this kit is engineered for improved thermal mass, better pad contact geometry, and sharper pedal feel for street and spirited driving. Technically, the system is designed to integrate with the OEM 312mm x 25mm rotor, utilizing a standard FMSI D1001 brake pad profile common to the FK8 Civic Type R. Each kit includes CNC-machined 4140 billet steel brackets and required stainless steel braided brake lines. While designed as a bolt-on solution, please note that installation requires 20mm spacers to maintain clearance when using OE Honda/Acura wheels. Direct fitment is supported for the 2017–2021 Honda Civic Si (HC10), 2022+ Honda Civic Si (HC11), 2018+ Honda Accord, and 2023+ Acura Integra (DE4). For 2006-2015 Civic Si and EX/LX models, fitment is possible but requires rotor modification. Clearance must be verified using the provided printable template due to the increased outward width and vertical height of the calipers. Additionally, this product is not legal for sale or use in California on any emission-controlled motor vehicle.
