4-Piston Dual Caliper Brake Kit

This system ingeniously employs a single 4-piston caliper, where two pistons are dedicated to the primary foot brake and the other two are independently operated for the handbrake function. The kit is constructed with a lightweight, forged one-piece caliper made from aerospace-quality aluminum to ensure uniform thickness and strength, eliminating potential weak spots. An opposed-piston design ensures consistent brake pad grip and wear on both sides of the rotor, with standard features including high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. It features a two-piece rotor design for reduced weight and fade-free performance. Lightweight center sections, crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reduce rotational mass for quicker response. The two-piece design also helps prevent rotor warping due to heat buildup, with aluminum center sections acting as effective heat sinks. Customers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operation, or slotted rotors, recommended for track use as they dissipate heat and gases more effectively. Included are SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The kit also features a polished titanium handbrake cylinder and lever for enhanced aesthetics and control, CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-on installation, and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines that improve pedal response and feel. This Big Brake Kit is Formula Drift legal. It is made to order, and lead times will be provided after order submission. While standard caliper colors include Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, premium finishes and custom color options are available for an additional fee. Center bell customization options, including titanium and twin-color anodized finishes, are also offered.
