The Ksport BKFD050-432CO Procomp Big Brake Kit is a high-performance upgrade engineered to deliver maximum stopping power for demanding street and track applications. Available with 4, 6, or 8 piston caliper configurations, this system utilizes advanced brake technology to dramatically reduce brake fade while continuously cooling and refreshing the brake pad surface during heavy braking. The caliper design features an extreme lightweight, one-piece differential bore caliper CNC machined from aircraft-grade billet aluminum, weighing just over 5 lbs. each for significant unsprung weight reduction. It incorporates an opposed piston design for improved pad wear and caliper rigidity, with aluminum pistons and high-temperature seals. Stainless steel brake pad wear plates and braided brake lines are standard, ensuring consistent pedal feel by preventing expansion under pressure. The 2-piece floating disc assembly reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. Its floating design isolates thermal stresses, preventing warping and braking surface cupping under extreme heat. A unique slot pattern expels gas and pad debris, reducing braking noise more effectively than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance and longevity. The multi-piston opposed caliper design and floating rotor assembly represent a significant step forward in braking performance and thermal management over standard OEM brake systems.
