4-Piston Forged Caliper

This innovative setup utilizes a single 4-piston caliper, intelligently dividing its function with two pistons dedicated to the foot brake and two dedicated to the handbrake, each operating on its own independent hydraulic system. The calipers are forged from a single piece of aerospace-quality aluminum, resulting in a lightweight yet exceptionally strong construction that eliminates potential weak spots. This design ensures uniform thickness and durability, preventing issues like fracturing or warpage. Inside, aluminum pistons are equipped with heavy-duty seals capable of withstanding high temperatures, while an opposed-piston configuration guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear. The kit features two-piece rotors, significantly lighter than stock OEM components, which contribute to reduced rotational mass for improved acceleration and braking response. The two-piece design also allows the outer rotor to expand and contract independently, mitigating warping due to heat, and the aluminum center sections act as effective heat sinks. Users can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures, or slotted rotors, advised for more aggressive track use as they efficiently clear heat, dust, and gases. The standard included SC5 Street Pads offer a balance of performance and reduced dust for daily driving, with an option to upgrade to RCI Race Pads for extreme track conditions. Customization options extend to caliper colors, with a wide range of standard painted finishes and premium high-polish or anodized options available, alongside center bell upgrades.
