The Aerospace Components 4-Piston Front Brake Kit is engineered to significantly enhance the braking performance and reduce weight for 2005-2014 S197 Mustangs. This system provides superior stopping power and an improved aesthetic, all while remaining exceptionally lightweight. The kit includes billet aluminum 4-piston calipers, billet aluminum hats, rotors, Hawk Performance brake pads, and all the required grade 8 hardware for a complete installation. The billet aluminum construction not only reduces weight but also ensures durability and safety. Available in three configurations—Street-Lite, Standard Drag, and Pro-Lite Drag—each kit is tailored for specific applications. The Street-Lite kit, with scalloped & dimpled rotors, weighs 27.7lbs and is rated for street use on cars under 4,000lbs. The Standard Drag kit, featuring drilled rotors, weighs 25.15lbs and is for drag use only on cars under 3,200lbs. The Pro-Lite Drag kit, with scalloped drilled rotors, is the lightest at 21.8lbs, rated for drag use on cars under 3,300lbs or heavier with a parachute. Both drag kits meet NHRA requirements and feature Zero-Drag technology, requiring no spindle modifications. The kit reuses factory wheel hubs and ABS sensors. However, it's important to note that the calipers may require Aerospace Components brake lines for proper function.
