The Project Mu FS44-T101A is a forged sports caliper kit designed to significantly enhance braking performance. This front caliper kit features a robust aluminum alloy construction, utilizing a forging method for maximum strength and durability. The surface is finished with hard alumite and powder coating for superior protection against the elements. Each caliper is equipped with four 38mm pistons, paired with four brake pads per caliper, enabling optimal braking force distribution. The kit includes 345mm x 32mm 2-piece rotors. The FS44R caliper design emphasizes front-rear balance to maximize stopping power. Included in the caliper kit are the caliper, caliper steel bracket, brake pads (NS-C pads included as standard), 2-piece rotors, Teflon brake lines, pad support springs, and all necessary bolts. It is important to note that when installing this system, the genuine side brake (in-drum type) is limited to use as a parking brake and cannot be used while driving. Additionally, machining of the genuine disc back plate is required during installation.
