Description

This rear brake system features a lightweight, 4-piston ProComp caliper machined from aircraft-quality billet, weighing just over 5lbs. It utilizes differential bore configuration, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly with a 330mm (13-inch) slotted rotor. This design reduces rotating and unsprung weight, while also mitigating thermal stresses from extreme heat to prevent disc warping. The unique slot design effectively reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris, offering superior performance for track use. The stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure. This Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit is specifically designed for the 2005-2008 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG and E63 AMG W219 Chassis models.
