The Watson Racing 4-Point Bolt-In Roll Bar is engineered to provide superior safety and performance for the S550/S650 Mustang. This roll bar features a unique bolt-in mounting system that attaches directly to the factory corner gussets using existing holes, eliminating the need for drilling into the car's high-strength steel floor. This approach ensures maximum safety and significantly simplifies the installation process compared to other roll bars that mount to weaker sheet metal or require extensive modifications. Constructed from robust 1.75-inch x 0.120-inch wall DOM tubing, the roll bar is 100% TIG-welded for exceptional strength and durability. It is finished with a powder coating for added protection and a clean aesthetic. Standard features include shoulder harness retention loops and a welded, fixed harness bar with a diagonal bar, meeting the requirements for many racing sanctions. Designed with minimal bends to maximize effectiveness and safety, the roll bar utilizes CNC precision mandrel bending where necessary. It bolts through the floor directly above a factory cross member at the rear for added strength. The design also allows for minimal trim panel modification and maintains full seat travel, ensuring a comfortable driving position. This roll bar is suitable for SCCA and NASA classes, as well as WC and Grand AM events. This roll bar is specifically designed for the 2015-2026 Ford Mustang Convertible. It weighs approximately 55lbs installed and includes zinc-plated M10 metric fasteners. It can be used in combination with Watson Racing's seat delete carpet kit (WR-15-4PTCARPETBLK) for a finished interior look.
