4-Port Race Boost Control Solenoid

The HA Motorsports 4-port Race Boost Control Solenoid is engineered for precise and reliable boost management in high-performance applications. This solenoid is manufactured by MAC Valves to HA Motorsports' exacting design specifications. It features a robust anodized housing that resists corrosion, and all hardware is secured with Loctite to prevent loosening from vibration. Additionally, all components are sealed to withstand the harsh conditions often found in engine compartments, including temperature extremes and moisture. Utilizing a 4-port design allows for greater control over boost levels by enabling vacuum lines to be connected to both the top and bottom of an external wastegate. This configuration permits finer tuning of boost pressure, enabling lower boost in lower gears for better traction and acceleration, while ramping up boost as speed increases. The solenoid is normally closed, providing a critical safety feature: in the event of a failure, the system reverts to the wastegate spring's pressure, preventing potentially damaging over-boosting.
