The Ksport Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered as a high-performance, bolt-on braking solution, specifically designed with drifting and rally racing in mind. This advanced system utilizes a unique Dual Caliper setup, featuring a single 4-pot caliper where two pistons handle the primary foot brake function and the other two independently manage the handbrake. Constructed with a lightweight forged one-piece caliper made from aerospace-quality aluminum, this kit is built for durability and strength, eliminating potential weak spots found in cast or welded designs. The caliper pistons are aluminum and protected by heavy-duty seals capable of withstanding high racetrack temperatures, ensuring smooth operation and preventing corrosion. An opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear. The independent expansion and contraction of the outer rotor section and the center section minimize warping due to heat, while the aluminum center sections act as effective heat sinks. Standard SC5 Street Pads are included, offering optimal braking performance for street use and occasional track days with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. This kit comes with everything needed for installation, including CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets to facilitate direct bolt-on to OEM locations. It also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by preventing line expansion under pressure.
