This system utilizes a single 4-pot caliper where two pistons handle the primary braking and the other two are dedicated to the handbrake, each with its own independent system. This design ensures enhanced control and stopping power. Constructed with a lightweight, forged one-piece caliper body made from aerospace-quality aluminum, this kit is built for strength and durability, eliminating weak spots common in cast or welded designs. The caliper pistons are aluminum and protected by heavy-duty seals to withstand high temperatures, ensuring smooth operation and preventing corrosion. The opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad wear and grip. The kit features two-piece rotors, available in either cross-drilled (recommended for daily driving as they run cooler) or slotted (recommended for track use as they dissipate heat and gases more effectively) designs. This reduces rotational mass for quicker wheel response and minimizes rotor warping due to heat expansion. Included standard are SC5 Street Pads, offering a balance of performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An optional upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The kit also includes DOT-compliant stainless steel braided brake lines, which prevent hose expansion under pressure for a firmer pedal feel and quicker response. For customization, options for caliper colors, titanium handbrake cylinders, and specialized center bells are available. The kit comes with a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects and is designed for easy, bolt-on installation with minimal tools and no vehicle modifications required for most applications.
