This unique system features a single 4-piston caliper that intelligently separates functions: two pistons engage for the primary foot brake, while the other two are dedicated to the handbrake, each operating on an independent hydraulic system. The kit is designed as a complete package, ensuring a straightforward installation with all components included: calipers, floating brake discs, high-performance brake pads, a polished titanium handbrake, and all required hardware. This Dualcomp kit is Formula Drift legal and aims to provide enhanced stopping power and control. It features CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for a direct fit onto OEM locations. Standard SC5 NAOC Ceramic pads are included, offering optimal performance for street driving and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. For increased customization, the calipers are available in various painted colors (Orange, Red, Black, Yellow) with options to upgrade to premium high-polish finishes or over 20,000 custom colors. The kit also includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines to prevent expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use.
