The Champion MC8164 is a 4-row all-aluminum radiator designed for high-horsepower applications. It features brazed aluminum tubes welded to aluminum tanks with approximately 10-12 louvered fins per inch. This radiator includes an internal transmission oil cooler and a brass petcock.

The Champion MC8164 is part of the Monster Cooling series, engineered for enthusiasts with heavily modified engines producing significantly more horsepower than stock. This robust radiator boasts four rows of 11/16-inch tubes, with a core thickness of approximately 2 3/4 inches. It is constructed from brazed aluminum tubes, expertly tig-welded to durable aluminum tanks, and incorporates 10-12 louvered fins per inch for efficient heat exchange. Designed for serious performance, the oversized tanks and additional fourth row of tubes maximize coolant capacity and heat dissipation, typically recommended for applications ranging from 800 to 1200+ horsepower. This radiator also features an integrated internal transmission oil cooler and a convenient brass petcock for draining. The inlet is located on the passenger side with a 1.5-inch diameter, and the outlet is on the driver side with a 1.75-inch diameter. Due to its maximum-sized design, slight modifications to mounting saddles may be necessary, especially if the original radiator was not a factory four-row. This radiator is specifically designed to fit Ford F-100, F-250, and F-350 Base models from 1961 to 1964 with 4.8L, 5.4L, or 5.9L V8 engines.
