The Barton Industries Short Throw Shifter, paired with their improved 2 post design shifter bracket (HW2998), is engineered for 2011-2014 Ford Mustang V6, GT, and 2012-2013 Boss 302 models. This upgrade significantly enhances the shifting experience by providing a 40% reduction in throw, leading to quicker and more precise gear changes. The design also maintains the factory reverse lockout and backup camera functionality, and accepts factory shift knobs while preserving their original height. Installation is straightforward and requires no permanent modifications to the vehicle. The kit includes Barton's improved 2 post shifter bracket, which further enhances performance by reducing deflection common with the factory bracket, leading to more accurate shifts.
