Overview

The Chevrolet BP4002CTC1 is a 400 cubic inch dressed longblock crate engine designed for GM small block compatibility. It produces 500 horsepower and 510 ft-lbs of torque. This engine features BluePrint Engines aluminum cylinder heads and a hydraulic roller camshaft.

The BluePrint Engines BP4002CTC1 is a 400 cubic inch GM small block compatible crate engine, engineered to deliver 500 horsepower and 510 ft-lbs of torque. It features BluePrint Engines aluminum cylinder heads with 64cc chambers, 2.08" intake, and 1.60" exhaust valves, paired with a hydraulic roller camshaft offering .553" intake and .576" exhaust lift. The rotating assembly includes a forged steel crankshaft with a 3.750" stroke and 5.700" connecting rods, with pistons also forged. The high-strength cast iron block is manufactured and machined in the USA, featuring a 4-bolt main, 4.125" bore, passenger side dipstick, and provisions for clutch linkage and mechanical fuel pump. This engine comes fully dressed with a Holley 850cfm Double Pumper carburetor, satin aluminum intake manifold, HEI Ready Run Distributor, valve covers, timing cover, and oil pan. Please note that this engine is not for EGR applications. The aftermarket intake manifold may not be compatible with OEM accessory brackets that mount to intake bosses, and the performance aluminum cylinder heads have a .500 raised port compared to OEM.
