400 SBC FLAT TOP

The JE Pistons 181940R is a set of forged flat-top pistons designed for Small Block Chevy engines with a 4.155-inch bore. These pistons are crafted from 2618 aluminum for high tensile strength and durability. They feature extra deep valve pockets and a low-friction skirt design, making them compatible with most aftermarket 23-degree heads.

Each piston includes features like a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design to minimize friction and weight, and optional skirt coating to reduce wear and noise. An accumulator groove is also included to help improve ring seal and consistent power. These pistons are sold individually.
