400-Watt 4-Channel Amplifier

The Rockford Fosgate TM400X4AD is a powerful and compact 400-watt, 4-channel amplifier built with Rockford Fosgate's proprietary Class-AD technology. Its ultra-compact size makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, including motorcycles, side-by-side UTVs, and vehicles with limited space. Key features include C.L.E.A.N. (Calibrated Level Eliminates Audible Noise) input/output clip detection with indicator LEDs to help match source to amplifier and optimize output. It offers flexible vehicle integration through both low-level and high-level inputs with an auto turn-on feature, and a remote-out feature when using high-level inputs. The amplifier includes discrete surface mount technology and differential inputs to eliminate noise picked up by signal cables, ensuring a clean signal transfer. For user convenience, the TM400X4AD boasts top-mounted controls for easy access to its variable high-pass and low-pass crossovers (50Hz–250Hz @ 12dB/Octave Butterworth) and tone controls (Bass boost up to +18 dB, Treble up to +14 dB). It also has a 2/4 channel input switch and is 4-Ohm bridged capable, delivering 200W x 2. To ensure optimal performance and longevity, it features a 3-stage thermal lock extrusion with dual fan forced induction cooling and real-time thermal sensing and protection circuits. The amplifier uses 8 AWG power/ground connectors and 16 AWG speaker wire connectors. It operates within a 9-16 VDC range, with a recommended fuse of 60 A. The power ratings conform to CTA-2006 industry standards, ensuring real power output numbers.
