The DBA 4000 Series Standard Brake Rotor is a performance aftermarket upgrade designed for drivers seeking braking capabilities beyond standard OE specifications. The high-carbon alloyed iron construction, combined with DBA's Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) process, ensures durability and consistent performance. This rotor incorporates DBA's patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation system. This unique design utilizes a series of 144 diamond and teardrop-shaped pillars, resulting in up to a 30% increase in surface area and a 20% improvement in cooling efficiency compared to traditional straight vane designs. The rotor has a smooth surface type and is vented for optimal thermal management. Key technical specifications for the DBA42962 include an outside diameter of 320 mm, an overall height of 48.5 mm, a nominal thickness of 25 mm, and a discard thickness of 25 mm. It features a 72 mm center hole diameter and 5 lug holes. The DBA 4000 Series Standard Brake Rotor is specifically designed for the 2007-2011 Mazda 3 MAZDASPEED, as well as certain Mazda CX-9 models (2007-2008, 2010-2011, and 2014-2015).
