The DBA 4000 Series XS brake rotor is engineered to provide enhanced stopping power and consistency for performance street driving. Constructed from high-carbon alloyed iron with a proprietary XG-150 formulation, this rotor offers superior heat dissipation and increased thermal capacity to withstand demanding braking conditions. The unique cross-drilled and slotted surface design aids in out-gassing, improving braking performance and reducing the risk of brake fade. DBA's innovative Kangaroo Paw ventilation system, featuring 144 diamond and teardrop-shaped pillars, significantly increases surface area and cooling efficiency compared to traditional vane designs. This advanced ventilation not only improves thermal management but also helps to extend the life of both the brake pads and the rotor, ultimately reducing maintenance costs. The rotor also includes thermographic temperature monitoring, allowing drivers to track rotor fatigue and assist in warranty claims. This DBA42714XS rotor is a direct replacement, designed for easy installation as a single-piece unit. It is sold individually and is compatible with various Toyota 4Runner models from 2005 to 2011, including the Limited, SR5, Sport, and Trail submodels.
