The DBA 4000 Series T3 Slot Brake Rotor is engineered by Disc Brakes Australia to provide performance braking capabilities beyond standard OE levels. Constructed from high-carbon alloyed iron, these rotors undergo Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) to ensure they can withstand the increased stress and heat generated during demanding braking applications. This rotor features DBA's patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation system, which utilizes 144 diamond and teardrop-shaped pillars. The T3 slot profile further enhances braking performance by helping to keep the brake pads clean and preventing glazing. Key technical specifications include an outside diameter of 330 mm, an overall height of 86 mm, a vented rotor type, and 8 lug holes. The rotor has a nominal thickness of 29 mm and a discard thickness of 29 mm. The center hole diameter is 118 mm. This rotor is specifically designed as a direct replacement for a wide range of Chevrolet and GMC vehicles, including various models of the Express, Savana, Avalanche, Silverado, Suburban, and Sierra, as well as the Hummer H2. Fitment is highly specific and depends on year, submodel, trim, and other factors. For example, 2016 Chevrolet Express 4500 models require an 86mm Tall rotor, while 2019 models require a 91mm Tall rotor.
