Overview

The DBA 4000 Series T3 brake rotor is a slotted, coated, high-carbon alloy iron rotor designed for performance applications. It features tri-symmetrical curve slots to decrease vibration and noise, and Kangaroo Paw ventilation to reduce brake fade. The rotor is non-cryo treated and includes temperature monitoring paint markings.

The DBA 4000 Series T3 is a high-performance, slotted, and coated brake rotor crafted from XG150 High Carbon Alloy Iron. This material composition, combined with Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP), enhances the rotor's ability to withstand extreme heat and stress, prolonging its life and preventing warping or cracking. The Kangaroo Paw ventilation system, characterized by 144 diamond and teardrop-shaped pillars, significantly increases surface area and cooling efficiency, thereby reducing brake fade and improving stopping power. The T3 slot design also offers increased exit locations for brake pad friction gasses, further enhancing the consistency and effectiveness of each brake stop. This rotor is a direct replacement, designed to be compatible with vehicles equipped with Brembo 6-piston calipers, specifically noting fitment for 2017+ Subaru STi models and a broad range of Subaru WRX and STI models from 2018-2021, as well as the 2024 WRX TR/TS. It is sold individually and features a coated, non-friction surface to prevent rust. The rotor's dimensions include an outside diameter of 340mm and a thickness of 30mm, with a minimum discard thickness of 28mm.
