4000 Series T3 Slotted Brake Rotor

The DBA DBA42163S is a performance-oriented, direct-replacement, single-piece brake rotor engineered to provide braking capabilities exceeding standard OE levels. It incorporates DBA's patented T3 bi-directional slot design, which features tri-symmetrical curve slots that decrease vibration and noise for a quieter, smoother pedal feel. This design also increases the number of out-gassing exit locations, improving brake stop uniformity and efficacy. Constructed from XG150 High Carbon Alloy Iron, this rotor is treated to minimize warping and cracking, thereby prolonging its lifespan. The Kangaroo Paw ventilation system, with its 144 diamond and tear-drop patterned pillars, significantly reduces brake fade and enhances cooling efficiency compared to traditional vane designs. Additionally, the rotor includes temperature monitoring capabilities to indicate peak braking temperatures, and a protective coating on non-friction areas prevents rust formation.
