Show original supplier description
The DBA DBA42466S is a T3 slotted brake rotor from the 4000 Series, engineered to provide enhanced braking performance above standard OE levels. It is constructed from high carbon alloyed iron and undergoes Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) to withstand increased stress and heat during intense braking applications. The Tri-symmetrical slotting design not only reduces vibration and noise for a smoother pedal feel but also increases the number of out-gassing locations, which improves brake stop uniformity and effectiveness. A universal slot design eliminates the need for left and right specific discs. Key specifications include a 340 mm outside diameter, 28 mm nominal and discard thickness, 69 mm center hole diameter, and 56.5 mm overall height. The rotor is vented and features a slotted surface with a coated finish and non-cryo treated, high carbon material. Its stopping power is rated at 5/5, with a noise level of 1/5, and performance over stock rated at 4 - Track Day/Towing. Paint protection is applied to non-friction areas to prevent rust. This rotor is specifically designed as a direct replacement for various Hyundai Genesis Coupe models from 2010-2016, including those equipped with Brembo brakes. It is suitable for driving qualifiers such as Extreme & Fleet Duty, Towing-Oversized Tires, Performance Street, and Street & Track Events.
